The "Whole House System" consists of two clamp-on SoPhTec water conditioning units. The model C-500 will fit up to a 2" pipe and should be clamped on the main water line entering the home. The C-250 clamps on the outgoing line from the water heater (tank type or tankless) to maximize the conditioning effect on the hot water as it is used. Both units have simple clamp-on mechanisms which require no tools for installation.

There are 14 permanent ceramic magnets in each unit, precisely positioned to achieve a high lever of conditioning. The C-500 will condition very effectively at water flow rates from 0.2 gallons per minute (gpm) to 10 gpm and the C-250 from 0.2 to 5 gpm. These flow rate ranges are typical of those encountered in a single family home.

These two units have been designed and manufactured to very exacting standards to perform over the desired range of water flow rates. Physical water conditioning is the only known effective alternative to salt or chemical type water conditioners.
