I use less soap with everything; my hair no longer feels like straw after 2 washes; my skin is no where near as dry; clothes are softer; the water heater is far more efficient; and the water itself even tastes better. What few houseplants I have seem to do better with the softened water just as you said they would. (My Poinsetta this past Christmas was gorgeous!) "...We were very pleased to find an advertisement for SoPhTec® water conditioners. October 1995 we purchased the C-500 model. Our water improved some, but we still had calcium deposits when using straight hot water. We decided to add the C-250 model to our systems hot water pipes. Each day after it's installation we noticed more and more improvements. The water feels softer, the shower and coffee pots are not building up with calcium, and we get more suds and use less shampoo, laundry, and dish detergents. Also our soap lathers easier and no more spots on the car. The pipes in the house must be cleaning out, as we have found flakes of calcium in the faucet strainers ever since the first installation. Now there is less flaking and deposits. If water drys on an object, a white deposit still appears, but now it is easily whiped off instead of needing to be scoured. We are very pleased with SoPhTec® water conditioners."

"We purchased the c-500 hoping to cure our water problems involving our three steam generated sterilizers. Our exsisting water supply, though softened, created a major build up of scale and unruly water deposits. The problem escalated to a point where our sterilizers were no loner operating properly, resulting in DOWN time as well as untimely service calls.

Upon receiving the c-500 we simply clamped it to our 2" incoming water pipe. In a matter of three short days we began to see results. Our sterilizers once again are operating properly and a month later our problem has yet to resurface.
